don't use drywall screws with a box with a lot of flex they can break. Use wood screws, predrill the holes and countersink the tops. Use 1 3/4 to 2" screws. Use a good glue. that is what will give you the best support

not many cars can get me to pluggin my ears but this one.......damn. I mean the first minute is ok but that thing just really starts digging deeper and deeper in your earhole till you cant stand it no more. Seems like it does it with relative ease....16 12's on 8 amps.........gotta love it. :)

It easier to have one long ass topic with many questions that having 6 or 7 different ones with alot of the same questions. Plus doing what you were doing takes up way too much space.

  yea wood screw FTW, i always just used what i have because my glue holds it anyhow

I use 2" 16ga braids & titebond 2, no predrilling ftw.

on a spl box where I need that extra security, I use 1 3/4 fine thread wood screws, and counter sink/predrill the hole
