zaxfire69 Posted May 2, 2009 Report Posted May 2, 2009 I wired my subs to 2 ohms today. Just like on the Rockford Site. But my Dmm is reading 1.5 ohms. Is this normal or what. I gotta run 2 Sundown Saz1500d's @ 2 ohms? Will I be able to do it or will I mess the amps up? Go into protect. What will happen. I am running the Fi 15" BL Dual 2 ohm subs. Quote

No sub is truly 2 ohm they are a little off, After box rise its over 2 ohm you will be fine. Fi subs never read what they say they are. As Kicker guy said you should be fine running them. Edited May 2, 2009 by banginAltima Quote If you build it, db's will come... Derrick824 Posted May 2, 2009 Report Posted May 2, 2009 The amps won't have any problem with that. Quote

Uhh that happened to me. I had 2 DVCs 4ohm each. When wired to 2 ohms I got 0.7ohms. Anything below 1.5 is weird for 2ohms... In my case, one of the VC's measured to 1ohm instead of 4ohms... It also wasn't performing as well. I basically blew the sub Quote

I have 4 voice coils at 2ohms each that equal 1.2 at the amp. It should equal .5 or less. Quote
