If you have plenty of room to run twice as many batteries to accomplish the same thing, there is nothing wrong with running cheap batteries. However, most of the cheaper batteries (and some expensive ones) use a large portion of recycled lead, which is detrimental to performance and lifespan. XS power batts are made with 99.98% virgin lead, which is why they can do a 3 year free replacement warranty, and most Ebay batts have little or no warranty.
