loganberry Posted May 5, 2009 Report Posted May 5, 2009 the f150 has 2 blown mid basses (cant hear with the bass but i know its there and it bugs me) so i need 2 new sets of 6.5 components, must have a 1 inch tweeter, i also wanted to get like some 4" speakers and put them in the a pillar, 1 set, maybe 2...i want all the brands to match not looking for crazy loud, but i want decently loud and fairly clean....i wanna be able to play it at high volumes for extended period of times and not shut it off and have your ears ringin for hours on end...im not very fond of the phoenix gold rsd components, im not looking for super expensive but something clean and fairly inexpensive (if that makes sense) thanks. logan My F-150 Build GET ON THE BANDWAGON what if they tried messing with the amps when the subs werent louder hahah jk

raytard Posted May 5, 2009 Report Posted May 5, 2009 jbl power...just back it with alot of wattage (100-150rms or so, watch the crossover with 150 on tap though...remember, they are 2ohms not 4) sub 200 dollar range for a set, beefy as hell midbass, 1inch crisp and clean tweeters, i like em alot. get nice and loud, and will make your ears ring if you want them to. pioneer d-series...best sq for the money imo, not the loudest, but i just love the way they sound, smooth and clear all day with 75rms Build: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/ind...hl=avalon+build monster/rockford/kicker/stinger cables, pioneer source, jbl highs/amps, kinetik/shuriken batts, iraggi alt, dei security, dc subs(atleast for now) Team DC
