99vic Posted May 5, 2009 Report Share Posted May 5, 2009 (edited) i had a 12 lvl4 in a properly designed box, that was pretty loud, i then got a 15lvl4 in a proper box and it was even better, hitting pretty much all the same notes but just louder and much deeper. i was going to go 18's in my current car but was worried about them not being musical enough, shame i havent heard them though so i am only guessing i have heard many dc 18s and they play music fine, 1lowsuv has 4 lvl4 18s play music fine, i had 1 18 music was fine. ill soon have 2 18s in my durango and 1 in my van, c45 iirc has lvl4 xl 18s sounded great.edit: i just like 15s and 18s because EVERYONE has 12s, on the streets you see a few 15s but not many with 18s. I run DC Lvl4-18's in my Burban because.....I have the room. I know the lvl 5's are the same price no matter what size you get. even a level 5 10?
