i had a 12 lvl4 in a properly designed box, that was pretty loud, i then got a 15lvl4 in a proper box and it was even better, hitting pretty much all the same notes but just louder and much deeper.

i was going to go 18's in my current car but was worried about them not being musical enough, shame i havent heard them though so i am only guessing

i have heard many dc 18s and they play music fine, 1lowsuv has 4 lvl4 18s play music fine, i had 1 18 music was fine. ill soon have 2 18s in my durango and 1 in my van, c45 iirc has lvl4 xl 18s sounded great.

edit: i just like 15s and 18s because EVERYONE has 12s, on the streets you see a few 15s but not many with 18s.

I go with 15s because I feel as if they can play lows well and still be punchy aswell. Just my opinion.

I run DC lvl4Xl-12's in the Dime because its an extra cab but I still wanted room to lean back.....Most people that have heard it think they're 15's....I've had 15's and 18's in there before but there was NO leg room.

I run DC Lvl4-18's in my Burban because.....I have the room. there isn't much price difference between the 12 and 15 and people wanting to go bigger. I know the lvl 5's are the same price no matter what size you get.
