HHR Ed
your ear, and meter, will have a percieved higher SPL when against a hard surface away from any vent to the outside. Do this to demonstrate my point. Sit in your driver's seat and play a song. Leave all window's up. Now roll down the driver window only, sound should seem quieter. Now roll up the driver window and roll down the passenger window. The sound should see louder, your left ear may even hurt. 97maxima
If you built a nice ported enclosure it would feel like a whole nother setup, then step up your amp and you will be amazed. American Bass*DC Power

kirill007
That amp will probably put out around 1000-1100 Watts, not the 1500 watts you were hoping for, hifonics is a underrated brand, but has a real good bang for buck. Thinking is the root of all problems... You ALWAYS get what you pay for.
monoxide
that one says 1200 at 1 ohm rms. i wasnt hoping for 1500 or 1800 i was wondering if it is safe to run my sub at that.
