FiBTLforlife Posted June 17, 2009 Author Report Posted June 17, 2009 like 100 bucks? you just invest what u can afford to lose. im just putting out sugestions for people so they can go ahead and look at some stocks that have worked out for me and see how u can read their web sites and see what news has happened for the company and see how that fluctuates with the stock itself. but if you would like to put money in some that i curently own, just put what u can afford. if $100 is cool with you do that, if $50 if enough just do that. everyone is different when it comes to money. some can put $2000 and be fine if they lose it, thats no me at all though hhahahah good luck and have fun. 2 AQ 10'' HDC3 copper subs 1 3500d AQ amp 146.3db on TL with stock electrical in single cab truck at 32hz RESULT: 1st place at comp, 3rd overall out of 20 cars
FiBTLforlife Posted June 17, 2009 Author Report Posted June 17, 2009 i have had some people say that they have tried some of my stocks on their virtual stock market. this is a great idea if u are not sure about what u are doing and want to jus see what happens with the stocks. i try and expose stocks that are affordable for people and seem to be on a move to the top. ive been on vacation for this past week and just got on a computer today and looked at my stocks. they are down around $120 overall for my account from about 3 days ago. this is how the stock market works, it goes up and down all the time. the next day i could go up $200 again. so for anyone who has stocks and you see them go down on you and u get scared when u see -$150 on your account, dont worry about it. just keep doing ur reading on your company and make sure u have a safety net set on the stock incase ur not at your computer when it goes up. safety net (what i call it) is when u set a price you want to sell the stock at if it goes that high. say u are happy if your $0.10 stock goes up to $.95. if you are gone from the computer for a week and it goes to the .95 it will sell it for you. now it it goes up to like $1.50 or something that is just your lose. im not a gready guy so anytime i come out on top im happy with just that. ive been doing some reading on how they are planning on building allot more nuclear reactors around the world. this will cause an increase in uranium quit a bit. and if u havent noticed the president has been in this state of going green and trying to do better and cleaner power. uranium is just that. this is just me but i believe uranium is something that will be big in the future. you got to look into the future depending on what type of investor you are. if you want to get money fast than just sell your stock when u get +$100 or more, but if your a long term investor thinking of the future in years, hang on to your stocks. this can be a very tricky and gutsy move bc when u look at how the stock market went down so bad u wonder will that happen again. you dont know, cant know, and have to just gamble. my gamble is a somewhat longterm investment. my food stocks and such i will sell after a while, but my uranium stock im hanging on for a few years. one of them claims to be one of the largest uranium extract sites by 2015. few years from now and ill prob be out of school, but from what they claim i will be up over $100,000 ......that is if all goes well, but like i said u never know. lmao all for now guys, if yall like this thread and fine it helpful please send me a PM letting me know and i will continue to post some info on here...i dont want to keep responding if nobody really cares about it. forum starter: mike 2 AQ 10'' HDC3 copper subs 1 3500d AQ amp 146.3db on TL with stock electrical in single cab truck at 32hz RESULT: 1st place at comp, 3rd overall out of 20 cars

tejcurrent Posted August 4, 2009 Report Posted August 4, 2009 You don't owe. Its sort of like this: You buy an amp for $200 today, and tomorrow decide you want to try and sell it. Tomorrow afternoon it might be worth 250, but say people realize it's a piece of crap and no one wants it. Suddenly you can't sell the amp for the life of you, and it has a value of 0. You lost 200, but you don't owe anyone the difference, just cut a loss. Maybe you hold on to the amp and people decide it is a pretty paperweight and you resell Friday for 250. tejcurrent XS Power T3

udgqwe424 Posted September 25, 2011 Report Posted September 25, 2011 Hey FiBTLforlife, thanks for your decision. It will help us. Some people start stock investing by going for the hot tips offered by the internet or local brokerage services. This may not be a wise strategy for a beginner investor because it means relying on others to tell you what to buy and sell and when. If you really want to treat stock market investing seriously then you must do all the hard work yourself and start to trust your own instincts. stock trading
inm Posted September 25, 2011 Report Posted September 25, 2011 I realize this is an old thread, but I'll ask anyway. Would you recommend an 18 year old to get into the stock market at all? Like, I want to put maybe $100 in just to see how it does. Would it be a good idea for me to do it now, or wait a little while? Not only is it not worth the risk, trading fee's on anything less than $500 is outrageous so if you were to gain at all you would have to have quite a gain to offset the initial investment fees. 1986 C20 Suburban 9 American Bass XFL 15's B2 M1MKII 14v XS Power Batteries Maxwell Caps Acoustical energy is free.
