If its on a tight budget, then almost everytime the 1 larger single woofer is gonna be better. I preach that on a daily basis. If you can fit an 18 do an 18. Less power, more cone area, and usally cheaper. Also I want the lows Don't get me wrong I want to be loud too but I would rather have clear sounding lows (tuned to 28-30) Then be loud and not have "good" clear lows (tuned to 38-40). Shyne151 Posted June 1, 2009 Report Posted June 1, 2009 (edited) I have one 15" Q running off of an old PPI PC-2150 right now in a 3.4ft^3 tuned to 33hz... and it hits the lows pretty good. I'm interested to see if it gets any louder off of the 1000-1bd I have coming in... The specs say the 2150 is rated at 600wrms at 4ohms bridged(which is how i have it hooked up)... and i've heard everything from 700-1000wrms are what these 2150s really do. Luckily my RF will come with a birthsheet The 15" Q is a very good sub... I had one in a small sealed box 2ft^3 at one time running off 1200wrms and it was clean as hell.
