I ordered my P880PRS from them, they're legit. I got it and it was brand new, worked as it should, was a sick price and all was well. The only issue I had was with pricing......When I placed the order the deck was listed at a certain price, when they processed the order the price had gone up $15 and that's what I was charged. When I got the confirmation I called in and spoke to a CSR who pretty much said there was nothing that he could do. I was forwarded to the owner of the company who pretty much said the same thing, said the discrepancy was due to their stock levels. He explained it to make it sound like the price for thier stuff is based on the amount they order, bigger orders get bigger discounts. Apparently they had sold out of the stock that was listed at the initial price, the incoming stock wasn't as heavily discounted so therefore a price increase was needed.

I didn't accept that, filed a claim with the BBB and was promptly contacted by the owner who credited my account the difference and shipped my next order for free.

So the moral of the story, watch the pricing and don't let them pull a fast one on you like they tried to do to me.

That could be somewhat true from what they told you.

SonicElectronix is not authorized dealers for many of their items (mainly only offer their own warranty on their products) and this is one reason prices are cheaper, and the bigger the bulk they buy in also prob becomes cheaper.

So I dont think they where trying to pull the "bait and switch" scam over on you and charge you more for something advertised at a different price.

And if they where trying to scam you out of money, it would of been for more then 15 bucks.

And because Sonic Electronix is a very repuable company/site that offers great service, and you where out to be a dick and file a claim with BBB they just said whats 15$ and we will give him his money so that they dont have a bad review with the BBB.

Its only $15, and I can guarantee you if you bought all this gear from actual authorized dealers you would of spent well over $15 more. So you really got nothing to complain about.

Call it what you want, i'm not going to argue with you about this situation when you don't know me or the business practices of the company. And you're right, I don't have anything to complain about because I got the deck for the price I was quoted initially and got free shipping on my next order as well!

So like I said in my first sentence of my first reply, which you seem to have conveniently overlooked, THEY'RE LEGIT. <------Can you see that better?

You dont report a LEGIT COMPANY as you put it to the BBB. Unless your a hypocrite.

After all you said that you didnt believe their story about how their pricing works. So they technically lied to you and scammed you out of money. That doesnt sound too legit to me.

It seems like you cant make up your mind on them.

Your complaining about something so little (but it must of been a big deal to you to contact the bbb). As if the prices arnt cheap enough the way it is. And Im almost sure they have something on their site saying prices are subject to change without notice, almost every online retailer has something simular to protect themselfs from this type of thing happening.

And I know they are legit because Ive delt with them a lot.
