ok lets see here. dd has z2lv's, but the do not come with a warranty. now if you want to run a dual amp set get you 2 new m4's. they put out an underrated 4800@1ohm. the 9500's are rated at 1500rms, but as anybody who has ran dd, they like more. the 9500 and 3500 are right about equal when u put 1500rms on them. where the 9500's start to shine is when you put 2k or more on them. so with 2 m4's assuming you have the proper electrical to keep up, you would be looking at 2500rms per sub. hope that helps. also the retail price on a new m4 is $2100 with a map price of $1680

lol. wow. that's alot of info. thanks for the help though. i deff needed it.

and i will work how ever hard and long i have too until my dream comes true. :) even if it's when i'm 75.

Do you think DD will have the same lineup when you're 75? Or even by the time you can buy gear? :01nocomment8so:

It's been a long shitty day at work so excuse me if I'm being a pessimist, but I just don't see it happening.

$1500 For a used one maybe :). That price is not much above cost. Msrp is up there iirc, but some people have gottem them for $1800-$2100.

I would really be advertising map pricing online tho, and besides that whoever will expect to buy it at that price will have to find a local dealer willing to lose out on a big sale since internet sales are not allowed. And going direct thru dd they really wont give you that price unless you got some stats to back your name.

Id also say the DD Z2lv too, but they wont be back in stock for a while. otherwise 2 dd m3s strapped would do the trick to and be very close if not more in rms output.

i only put map out there to show the op that boon was right and the dd equipment isn't cheap. and to the op good luck finding any dealer who will sell at map. I know i wouldnt. i know of only one dealer here my part of texas who will sell even close to that. and thats just because he does such a high volume of business that it works for him.

it's cool. if they don't have the same lineup, there is always upgrades. :)

well i want to try 1 DD first and hook it up to a DD amp. if i don't like the way it sounds, i simply sell them and try a different brand. i just have to continue trying until i hear something like. and like i said, if DD doesn't work out, i will probably go back with DC. and i just hope rusty will still accept me. :unknw:
