Looking good brotha. So the question is, are you gonna bring that car out this weekend to Santa Rosa. There is an SQ show this weekend and by the looks of it your on the right track. If not come on out just to see some other SQ guys. I'm a rookie in this SQ stuff but, definately appreciate the hard work and dedication.

I have a 2000 Monte Carlo same style as yours. Question is with out the factory radio you can not set up all your vehicle settings. They are built into the factory radio.. like programming new remotes, Resetting tire pressure sensors, setting your chimes, resetting the oil life... Do you have a lot of indicator lights on you dash now?

and if you have to how are you going to reset all this stuff if you do have one pop up?

True, w/o the factory radio you can't adjust the settings. This is a non-issue for me because i've had the car since 2005 and the only time I messed with any of the settings was the last time. Here we are 4yrs later and I've not touched any of the settings. As for resetting tire pressure and oil life warnings, both of those can be done w/o the radio. To reset the tire pressure you just turn your key to the on position, w/o starting it, and quickly pull the headlight switch out one notch, do that 3 times quickly and the message will be reset. To reset the oil life warning, turn the key to "run" and then press and release the gas pedal 3 times within 5 seconds. Turn key to off, wait a second, then start it up, message should be gone.

If I ever need a remote programmed, I can either plug in the factory deck or go to the dealer.

Why haven't you gotten a new deck and interior speakers?

Well i would have to say motivation and money. The stock system in my car is loud enough and clear enough for me. The deck i would like to replace, but its too much money and hassle. I have 22"s and i frequently get flat tires, between that and the oil changes it too much of a pain to swap decks every month.

You lost me with swapping decks every month. But no worries, just wondering.
