97Shocker's Re-Birth 4-RFT2- 15's in a Wall

I have had wires on every one of my vehichles. Gota keep it OG. The spokes I have on there now are actualy 180 spoke Players. They go well with the Raider Silver and all the chrome.

Allrighty! for all who are following along with this build? Here is an update. I will appoligise to you all now for the delay but July was a crazy month for me. First of all my youngest sons birthday on the 12th and on top of that he has started the California Youth Basketball Leage. so Saturdays have been wraped up by that. Then my birthday on the 17th and work everyday for me! its been a long hard month.

Not as much progress as I would have liked to see get done but now that the Port is almost done and close to beeing painted we should see much better progress in Augest so on with the pic's.

So I was sanding on the Port in my back yard a fwe weeks back and my youngest son Jordan walked up and said to me look dad i could crawl through your Portal! thats what he called it. lol. I was wow it is actualy realy big so I grabed my blackberry and took these realleaty shots.

Okay! it was time for me to try my hand at HVLP sraying. what a challenge that was for the first time. So I shot the first coat of primer and ended up spending 8 hrs sanding 90% of it off because i sprayed it on my side yard. Here are the pic's

It was looking ok. untill i had to get into the middle. what a tight fit that was! so i got some ripples in the wet primer where I had the air up too high. thats where all the sanding came from. What a b**ch that was.

I should have done this in the garage with a wet floor!!!!

Of course the tip would clog!

So this is what it turnd out to be with 3 coats of primer I will have about 4 hrs of sanding left to do before I paint it gloss black.

So in between coats of primer I was able to get the final glass coat on the inside of the box.

I had the Face baffle off so I thought I would paint the counter sinks with some gloss black to see how the black sprayed out of the HVLP gun. It actualy sprayed better then the primer! WTF...

I glude the face baffle in place and thought i would check the fit up of the woofer! (what a heavy bi**h that was) It was like a teaser now I just want it done!

Augh!!! You did all that work makin the port perfect and you have DENTS on your T2s?!?! I really hope thats a spare or you plan on running them to death in the lanes. Dents, scratches, and holes drive me crazy when I check out someone's system. Otherwise, keep chuggin, that wall and port look pretty thug. And this is the first time I've seen someone finally reroute the AC so its still useful, always an idea I've had but never used.

Yaha! :censored: I wish it was a spare But unfortunatly I was only able to buy 2 brand new woofers with all my layoffs and finacal hard ships I had to buy 2 used woofers! but thats life!! the 2 used will be on the bottom of the box so 80% of the time they will be outa sight outa mind untill i fold down the back seats! My goal is to swap them out for 2 new ones later on down the road once the build is complete!

I would if the backs of the woofers wernt all scratched up from the prevous install. besides there not as bad as it looks in the picture the light hit it weard! but I'm not as worried about as you seem to be. thanks for your concern
