Joker Posted June 29, 2009 Report Posted June 29, 2009 I dont know nothing about getting a free lunch but I would say what Steve Meade does having this site to allow vendors to promote there product to a highly trafficed forum , all the videos he posts showing his system getting down etc. If I was a big company with something worth showing off to get more product out the door , I would contact him {Steve} myself somehow and "offer" and hope not to be declined. Its one thing trying to contact them yourself but if they contact you .. your doing good marketing and maybe no even know it. I didnt sign up for an account until recently but I was lurking back in '06 checking out all the baddass rides on here. This site marketed what was good and bad by me using others experiances so I knew what to put my money into and not to etc. Thats about as free as it gets for the average joe , searching . When I see places that do good work I still try and promote them. But you never know, you may get a call one day and it be someone from an audio place saying "Hey man we have gotten some serious inqueries from people you referenced and maybe we can work something out?" haha that would be pretty sweet! Torres Posted June 29, 2009 Report Posted June 29, 2009 no one is downing it. we're downing the way you're trying to go about it. no experience, no current gear, no license, etc. i would see no reason to put you on my team or sponsor your ride. if you had some crazy setup already and had a name for yourself, then yeah. but right now it's not even close. get some stuff, build some stuff, learn some stuff. then eventually you may be eligible. it's not an overnight process

KingJames6 Posted June 29, 2009 Report Posted June 29, 2009 I see and understand what all yall are saying ok... im 16 dont kno much..i dont have license till a couple days and im getting it... for gear i have a truck i have a 15" audioipe sub with 1200 watt amp and a farad cap.... im not asking for free lunch...or free anything....i am going to work my butt off and get everything on my own...its ok yall bash all away i guess...i dont care... i am learning.... im going to make a name for my self nothing happens overnite i kno... i am learning and in the process of getting stuff it takes time and im not as wise and prob smart as yall because yall have been in this industry for many many years i am just gettin into it and trying to learn ok all i am simply trying to do...

You didnt even have a system yet or a car for the matter of fact and your already wanting free stuff. Spend coupls gs easily and plenty of years changing it up and you might possibly get a sponsership. Dont get ahead of yourself. Your just learning the game and already asking which NFL team you would be able to get a free ride to. Read. Car Audio + Bodyboarding/Longboarding = LIFE!!!
