Hotdog Posted July 1, 2009 Report Share Posted July 1, 2009 (edited) I have 2 P2 12's duel coil 4 ohm and 1 12 in 4 ohm sub Can I temporary hook it up this way until I get 2 more P2 subs? P2 12 @ 8ohms p2 12 @ 2ohms 1 12 @ 4 ohms according to the ohm calculator this would work out to 1.14 ohms please dont bang me if this is a stupid question.. But I really need to know because I dont know I am getting my T10001bd today and I need a temporary solution until I can get 2 more subs Either that or I can go 2ohm 2ohm 4ohm for a total of .80 ohm but I dont think the amp can handle that and I am not comfortable doing that. I would like to use the full capabilities of the amp if I could I could just wire the p2's at 4ohm but then I am only using half the amp.
