I think it would be easier to do with the budget given provided there is some help from sponsors. A competition between east,mid-west,and the west coast would be an excellent addition to the show. The public thrives on competitions, take for example: Pass Time and Pinks on the Speed Channel. All about competition and the shows draw in hundreds of viewers every day. Bringing in the "young guns" to the show is a great idea with "mentors" who have experience in building a vehicle to this level, also present.
