The Performer
sooo umm about my original question... thanks for the replies but none of them answered the questions And like I said, give me some time and I would have all the info you needed. Keep with this smack talk and I might just keep all my pics and instructions to my own damn self. Quote CERTIFIED BITCHES!!! Not being new at something doesn't mean anything. And what year are you talking about? As for resistors, start your car up and read the voltage of the system at run (Usually around 14v) Then take that information and use this calculator if you don't know your electronics theory formulas. http://led.linear1.org/led.wiz But seriously guys, I would NOT recommend these kind of mods unless you have ALOT of experience with VERY small delicate electronics, as well as alot of knowledge of what you're getting into. For instance, I'll give you guys a preview of my airbag switch in my truck. Things like this are VERY easy to break, and if you don't know EXACTLY what you are doing you have a chance of really screwing up your vehicle. Quote CERTIFIED BITCHES!!! sphinxbccp
mine is a 03 blazer, im lucky... the main ones to replace are simple screw ins... the WLED (194s) are for the main cluster and the t1.5s are for the HVAC controls, eventually ill order a bunch of 3mm leds for the rest of the interior lights (i.e. window switches, light swithes, shifter...) The Performer
if i do it and screw it up how hard is it to fix it In my situation with my truck, a new cluster is over $300. Hard is the least of your problems unless you're made of money. Quote CERTIFIED BITCHES!!! Not being new at something doesn't mean anything.
