I Got Offered A Job...

...at my local Car Audio Shop. Its called Sound of Tristate. They REALLY want me to leave my job im at now (which i just started less than a month ago) and join their crew. I didnt even ask them they just offered me the job. I was on my way out and one of the guys said "charles wants to talk to you and wants you to fill out an application". So i go and talk to him and he takes me to the back room and asks how old i am and then asks about if i woudl want to work their. It woudl be kool as FUCK working their but my school/ work schedule with my dad may REALLY screw up their schedule. I will talk to them on monday and figure out what i can do. They said they know i know my stuff (especially since on black friday i was basically helping them and when ever i go theri i explain stuff to people and they dotn even gotta get up)

They said either 7 or 7.50 per hour plus 10% of the profit comission. (not that great but hey...i make 8 an hour now) I think i will be taking that job up if they can work around my schedule.

What do you guys think???

its not that much of a difference in pay but if they could work out a schedule for u then i say go for it.. u might like it better who knows..plus you get to work with speakers n stuff all day automatic plus 4 me

I'd say go for it man! I'd love to work in a ca shop but the only one around here is tiny and there isn't much interest in car audio in this area.

do it!! if i can find any more "high end" shops around here i would work for them in a heartbeat for free. you never know, it might lead to bigger and better things for ya..!!

its not always about the pay either...being around car audio all day and being paid to do so has always been a dream for me

Money aside, you rarely get a chance to get a job you actually like and want to do. I say go for it...pending your schedule.

2 main reasons they wanna hire me. they really need more associates there and they know i know my shit (ohm loads, products, matching up amps to subs speakers and what not, how to convince people to get this over that and yea) oh and side note im not trying to sound cocky by saying " i know my shit" thats just how they put it haha.
