beaker
Anyone seen one of these yet, or know someone who can make one? I'm about to do a project for a company I just started that makes ultra small pc's that can decode and play 1080p/blue ray video. Now if I could just find a 1280x720 10 inch lcd . . . . MaX
dont know if its practical...because not only would you have to have the HDMI input on the amp, also on the head unit...and those HDMI cables arent cheap...50 bucks for 6 feet of good cable...imagine what a 20 footer would cost <div align='center'>03 RAV4 18" DC Level 4 XL Knukonceptz 1/0 gauge AudioQue 2200D 6.25 cubic foot box tuned to 32 hz DB Linc 200 Amp H/O ALT 1/0 BIG III</div>
BJD3
dont know if its practical...because not only would you have to have the HDMI input on the amp, also on the head unit...and those HDMI cables arent cheap...50 bucks for 6 feet of good cable...imagine what a 20 footer would cost HDMI cables aren't just aren't practical in car audio. They don't "lock" into place, so it would keep vibrating out. Not just from bass, but from regular driving as well. EDIT: Not disagreeing, just tacking on another reason why it isn't practical. Now if you are going fully custom/show car, just get a 10 inch LCD, mold it into the dash, and run DVI from the computer to the monitor, then optical out from the computer to the amplifier. Now go find an amplifier that supports optical inputs. Not a 10 inch, and isn't DVI, but there are DVI to VGA converters. 12.1 inch monitor 19 inch widescreen touch Anti Peel and Seal...lol You may be offended by the above. BJD3
I agree with everyone else.. except for the fact that HDMI cables really are not to expensive. 30ft HDMI For the length he would need, lower quality cables are out of the question. Signals sent over HDMI degrade over length. Couple that with a low quality wire and you might as well use analog cables. Anti Peel and Seal...lol You may be offended by the above.
