Derrick824
Vid playing some music. The bass was flexing the fluorescent lights next to the truck causing them to flicker. Also pay attention to the pack of ring terminals hanging on the back wall about 9-10 seconds into the vid. Wish the lighting was better. sundownz
We put in two SAZ-3500Ds to replace the AB 1000.1 -- the 3500s WILL run wired down to the lower load : 1.7 dB gain Quote - Jacob Fuller - Owner, Sundown Audio - Sundown Audio on FACEBOOK - Please DO NOT PM ME -- use my email address -- [email protected]

kbreudi
so the 3500's were at 1/3 Ohm each i assume? If so was it the same electrical as the AB was on? Did the 3500's play music at that load? Just trying to compair the two amps thats all Quote TEAM SUNDOWN 4 Nightshade 15"s 2 Sundown SAZ-4500 8 Deep Cycle batts 1998 Cadillac Catera SPLMAX CUP 2008 Fourth Place Overall

Did the 3500's play music at that load? Just trying to compair the two amps thats all Yes. The coils on each d4 sub are wired in series for 8ohms then all subs are wired parallel for 0.66ohm and the saz-3500s are strapped on that load for 0.33ohm each amp. I'm not really familiar with his electrical setup. Yes it plays music wired just like that. I got home a little bit ago from a comp today where Paul hit 155.1db @ 35hz with this setup. I have a few vids of his truck including his 155.1db run. The most impressive thing of the night was when he was demoing some music and made the sensors red light during Bass Race eliminations from 25ft or so away. The sensor inside Walt's sealed car was reading 122db from 25ft or so away from Paul's truck playing music.

cookiemonster
Paul's electrical is pretty good. While doing a demo for me, his voltage never dropped below 12v. Quote 1989 Honda Civic 1990 Honda Crx Refs: Sundownz, Derrick824, QCguy
