with that much maybe a 15" BTL and a RF T20001Bd off ebay or sumthin but youll need some electrical upgrades with that amp or possibly a 15" BL powered off of a RF T10001Bd...

if we are still talking about an 18 setup 5 cubes may be good considering how much power he wants to run 2 it with 2 amps.

I didnt read what your setup previously was but id just get 2 Qs and a 2k watt amp and call it a day, as for the power you want to run to a BTL it will be way over your 1,000 to 1,500 budget, when you include all the electrical to properly feed it

james- very true. people around my town dont know a damn thing about systems. the ones that think they do, dont even consider tuning freq., minimum space for their subs, etc.... the closest setup that is dec... is the kid drivin around with two 12" kicker l7's who is underpowering them both, in a under-sized box. so showing these ppl around my town a real system, would be pretty damn cool, and trust me, its needed. i want something that can kill those kickers. in the price range of what i said earlier. possible?
