Rockford Fosgate or Alpine Type R's?

was doing sum research...its about time i upgraded to sum better subs...i'm hearing really good things about Alpine Type R's... then a few days ago i saw a pair of Rockford Fosgate 12's...(dont kno the numbers if there r n e) i was wondering if n e 1 here would recommend them over the Alpines...

I am a Rockford type of guy.. check sig

but Alpine makes good stuff too... I guess it would be your personal preference.. or which one would be more affordable.

I like the type-Rs a little bit better than the P3's. I've seen the type-rs take way more than they're rated for

type r's are good subs... and im sure they would outperform a p3 anyday...

type r's are good subs... and im sure they would outperform a p3 anyday...

from what i hear, only the power series (T1, T2) are good.

and type r's are under rated, can handle 600+ rms.
