1992Chevy K1500 Posted August 23, 2009 Report Share Posted August 23, 2009 Wow...am i reading this correctly...slightly above 1 ohm, at 12.8 volts the 1500 made 1900 watts? Holy sh!t..so wouldnt this thing easily break 2k on a solid 14+ v system. Damn that is insane. Assuming the same ohm load, you could easily break 2kW with a solid 14+ volts. Customer for life here...... I am looking at getting another 3500 come the turn of the year to run a bunch of SA12's.....Fun times for sure... sundownz Posted February 8, 2010 Author Report Share Posted February 8, 2010 Maybe if you bypassed the fuses... it is not intended for that sort of power and the fusing is sized for that reason. Fusing will pop in the 1700-1800 watt area. I've had 2600 from one on 18v with no fuse popping.
