A lot of the weight of the speaker comes from the top and bottom plates, but I'm not sure if that's the case with the bl's or not. No, your adding up total weight, not what im looking for, but thanks for trying I'm trying to compare the difference in the 2 choices of drivers that I'm wanting to get. AudioQue HDC3A's have a 340oz MAGNET, which seems like a beast, and im trying to get the magnet weight of the BL. I know this might not be a very good indicator for a speaker, but I would like to know anyways. DECAF.....If you chime in, I know we had many PMs about similar questions, so don't be pissed . Im really leaning toward the AQ's as I can get an 8 layer aluminum VC HDC3 18 for I think 370 or so bucks, and should be a better handling driver for 2k RMS each X4. AQ just seems to have some fine ass pricing. I loved my 08 model BL's, but I think I might go a different route then FI this time around. The BTL's are nearly $500 each, so that would be 2000bones just for drivers. I can save $400 if I go with AQ, I just hope I will not loose out in the lowend, you know what I mean.
