kirill007 Posted May 8, 2010 Report Posted May 8, 2010 my next testing day ill be sticking shit into my box to take up more airspace and see what happens. other than that, next week mr.p and i are making some boxes for a 10" and seeing how they react in my car. this imp rise is a bitch man. some people say bigger box, some people say smaller, some people say least rise at tuning some people say most rise at tuning. about to pull my damn hair out. oh wait, i already cut it all off. Smaller box at tuning has the least impedance rise. With a smaller box the impedance is lower, because the peak spreads around more freqeuncy's. With a bigger box it will be a peakier impedance rise below and above tuning. Nice score on the 2 12's , i like the box. I would like to see the other box you made. Thinking is the root of all problems... You ALWAYS get what you pay for.

I would like to see the other box you made. the box is 12.5h x 24d x 45w. port is 11x6.25. sub and port back, port on driver side, subs on pas side with a whammy behind the subs. pretty basic. final volume: 3.77cu ft tuning: 36hz but its a total bust. new box must be built.
