ChevyBoy
also this is never gonna happen. Frequency Response 9 Hz - 50000 Hz a sub amp will never see 10k hz, nevertheless 50k hz.

civichatch
Thats a shitty amp. and i agree wit chevy. power acoustiks subs are not even close as good as their amps Well im glad im not the only one who thought this. I always thought the Power acoustiks subs are not very good. You guys have just proven my theory. And that amp is junk dude. Get a nice Rockford. And just because it says it puts out 1500 watts rms. Doesnt mean it acctually does. Those amps can be seriosly over rated and it will be terrible quility. BlockShaker
Well put it this way. Its like going to a flea market and seeing an amp thats about 2ft long and says 2000 watts, but when you look at the side there are only 2- 15 amp fuses. Whats the catch? Its all about advertising what people see first and not reading any fine prints. Chris
Yo yo yo... Just hooked up the 2 monoblock soundstorm f1500D's to the P3's and that shit is loud as a bitch but as for the 2500D's they only have 3 20amp fuses as mine have 2 25amp fuses each. See a problem here? the F1500D's put out close to their rated RMS at 14+ volts but if you do the math: total fuse rating x total voltage in your ride= watts RMS at a non-resistant load. The amps are 2ohm stable or strappable so you can bridge 2 separate ones together to a 4ohm load. I'd say the F2500D can do around 750rms at 2ohms. If you're low on cash go the route I went a while back because I had good experiences from using Soundstorm from long ago. They ARE cheap, but there certainly ARE better amps out there. If I was making a choice these days, I'd go with a hifonics or power acoustik if on a budget. IN CONCLUSION: The F2500D is comparable to the F1500D and isn't a horrible amp nor a great one. Better to invest in something without the made in china sticker put in plain view. 4 15" FI Q D2's in 12 cubes tuned to 32hz 1- T1000.1bd's 3 Maxx 29 deep cycles 4 runs of 1/0 gauge -Big 3 -Trunk sealed off from the cabin Custom 15.8 dual-volt switching MLA module All in a CAR. BlockShaker
You have to remember that a class A/B amp is only about 50% efficient and a class D is about 80% efficient. So some of the fuse ratings will be heat resistance.
