8 subs, All moving differently.

Cant be outta phase...all the wiring is correct. just checked. they all hit the same on the higher notes but when it gets down into the 30's thats when they act up.

Don't mean jack.

Higher frequency's are harder to see phase alignment issues.

Pop the subs with a battery as said and make sure they are all in phase.

there could be plenty of reasons, unequal length wires... oddly shaped box... the way they are paralleled together...

easiest way is to send 9v thru the speakers

some of the speaker wires going from 1 sub to another or the amp maybe be longer then the others. Resistance in wire will cause speakers to be out of phase.

so its kinda important to have the same length wire for all subs (even if you only need 1 foot of wire for the closest sub, and say 4 feet of wire for the farthest away sub, make all wires 4 feet).

If thats not the problem, then its something with a bad coil, or like said before bad wiring.

That's a little crazy... suggesting the resistance in a couple extra feet of copper wire is going to cause the speaker to be out of phase.

Care to explain how that would work?

If thats how it is... how do front and rear speakers stay in phase?

I've wired up numerous 4+ sub setups and have never saw what you are saying is happening... or have I ever heard of it happening.

I would lean towards common chamber... big box... lots of subs... crazy different amounts of pressure causing the subs to go whacky.

The box is pretty odd shaped, we glassed the spair tire well and other parts to gain airspace.

Sounds like you have loading issues in the box.

Try dividers in the box to help air flow
