Jville140db
its more complicated then that. First of all, the D3100 is a BIG ASS BATTERY. No way in hell 6 will fit even with the floor cut out. Second, i have a roll pan. If i had a bumper and a tow hitch still, i would have more options, not many more but just a little. Still not enough room for 6 and CERTAINLY not a simple bolt up if you could even do it. Also you have to take the terminals and what your gonna do about them into consideration. I could probably get 6 D3400's (smaller) back there though. looks like its time to go 16v and d1000's Quote Car is 2010 Scion Tc Currently in car Deck- Sony XAV-60 in-dash mobile video system Speakers- Rockford Punch 6.5in comps in the front and coax in the rear Subs- 2 Gen 3 Rockford P3 12's dual 4 ohm Amps- Rockford P1000-1bd and P400-4 Alpine Mrp-f300 is in for P400-4 which is out to service Wiring- all rockford nuff said Enclosure- Dual 12in custom box by SRQ Battery- Optima Yellow top with big 3 done Sound Damping- All Dynamat products 1-2 layers throughout with liner on top Link to my build log- http://down4sound.co...=newpost&t=5275 Link to my youtube- http://www.youtube.c...ser/Jville140db MECP Advanced CEA # 110531 BassBox 6 Pro for Box Building/Re audio box calculator If you can hear the passenger it aint loud enough!!!!!!! Forevrbumpn
Okay, I didn't realize the roll pan made a huge difference I do have a tow hitch, and its not in the way of my spare tire, and my spare tire is about 9-10" wide, I figure at least in mine, even though I have a 4/6 drop, I could still do about 2 inches lower, and since your a little higher than me, you could squeeze more down there I guess in mine with factory 16"s and the drop I have I would have speed bump issues dropping even lower It was just a thought I had a while back, I thought I would throw out there Quote I have a ritual called "terminator". I crouch in the shower in the "naked terminator" pose. With eyes closed I crouch for a minute and visualize either Arnie or the guy from the 2nd movie. I then start to hum the T2 theme. Slowly I rise to a standing position and open my eyes. It helps me get through my day. The only problem is if the shower curtain sticks to my terminator leg. It sorta ruins the fantasy. The batteries showing because they stick down lower then the pan IS the problem. Also, you STILL dont have room for 6 D3100's - ive already done this remember (chickens EXT) and just FOUR was a challenge all by itself. The floor wasnt cut out though. Even then i had to fiberglass that lip because too much of them were showing - There just is NOT that much room there. It looks like it but until you have a D3100 sitting in front of you or even better, a HOLLOW one like i do (so you can physically try it and see) you will know it aint happenin. You have a 4/6 on 16's? DAMN i wouldnt be able to go over a speed bump if i had them things on my ride. Shit even some little 20's would have me on the ground Quote All SMD products + MORE available at my store here! https://wccaraudio.com/ Subscribe to My Youtube Channel! doubleD
no thanks....no room for that. I will probably reinforce that hatch more somehow - maybe even make the hatch glass perma shut since i get so much pressure loss there.i made a new panel to fit in place of the bottom interior panel on the back hatch of my yukon,,,it was 1/8 inch thick an double that where tha ports are on my box,,,finished it out with some fiberglass to smooth it out and painted it,,, if its to heavy the hatch wont hold itself up
