If I said I spent over $10,000 on my substage and charging for it most people on this forum wouldn't debate the cost if it was loud. Some people just don't want loud, the people who buy these speakers value sq the same way I see SPL. Neel Posted August 14, 2009 Report Share Posted August 14, 2009 SQ does not just mean "loud and clear" there are many factors that determine how a certain driver will sound such as the drivers fs or its on axis / off axis response. Of course all of this goes to waste if the enclosure the driver is in is poorly designed, constructed and placed. The differences in high end and low end speakers are definitely there, however it takes a solid install to really appreciate them. Quote Too Much Stuff to list .
