Is it a 3G, 4G, 6G, or something else? It was on the Ford 3G, 4G, 6G and a couple of other alts that I read from a reputable alternator manufacturer that you could soldier a 6 amp diode inline with the yellow sense wire before it goes into the alt plug and it will charge around .6 volts higher than what it normally does. So.... that would put you right at 15 volts. I have never tried this but the manufacturer said it will work with no issues at all. I wanted to try it with my stock Ford alt in my car, but could never actually get to the wire that I needed to get to.
