thehoe92 Posted May 24, 2010 Report Posted May 24, 2010 joo got the power for them? are you having Rich help you with the aiming and what not? remember when I had the tweeters on my a-pillars? they were really harsh because they were pointed at the windshield and I never could get them aimed to sound good a-pillars are tricky and you don't want to get it done then realize it doesn't sound the way you expected Wouldnt be thehoe92 without teh purple
loganberry Posted May 24, 2010 Author Report Posted May 24, 2010 nope, i should have the power for them we will see...i thought i had fleece but turns out i didnt so went to walmart and all they had was the thicker stuff and it kicked my ass, so there is a few creases but ill go over them with mat and it will be good to go...aiming i was only left with 1 way really...i still wanted to use my handle and since these are the stock pillars they are not getting screwed into the pillars...its getting held on with velcro (gay yes i know) so for only using less than half of the pillar they had to stick out fairly far and only be able to be aimed one way..we will see how they work, if i dont like them then damn, there goes 10 bucks and a days worth of work.. once the fleece dries ill throw on a layer of mat and hopefully finish them tommorro My F-150 Build GET ON THE BANDWAGON what if they tried messing with the amps when the subs werent louder hahah jk

loganberry Posted May 24, 2010 Author Report Posted May 24, 2010 yea it sucks bad, when/if i find another set of replacements ill go to town and do the pillars like i really wanted them, but until then this will have to work for now, there bulky but its how it has to be...wont bother my vision though i need ideas on what to cover them in thats cheap and really easy to work with...i dont have any bondo and am not going to go buy some since the pillars arnt permanent so im gonna cover em My F-150 Build GET ON THE BANDWAGON what if they tried messing with the amps when the subs werent louder hahah jk
