I second that.

I thought about not putting it back in the truck. I was thinking about another car. Maybe next year.

Today is bondo and sanding time. Plus I get to change my rear brake pads......exciting.

WTF, I never thought I'd have a conversation about cross dressers and trans-genders on a car audio forum.

Still work to do but getting close.

The finish will be flat black so the one pod looks like the finished product. Need to do some spot filling here and there and a little more sanding. Will be in the truck by this weekend. Have to get ready for the Pulse Car Audio N.S.P.L. show next Sunday.

Im done for the day. Need more paint.

Made a little progress yesterday. Still sanding and painting on the pods. Want to try and get them in the truck for this weekend but not sure they will be done in time.

While the paint was drying I took the time to start the rings for the front doors. I doubled up a ring for the sub and Im using hurricane nuts to fasten the speakers to the rings. More for the look than anything. I wanted to use hex cap bolts and have the heads show. So what your looking at are 2 rings for the Polk MM6501's and 2 rings for the DDSW 6.5's. I have the port material on the way and 2 quarts of some fun chemicals to play with and hopefully use to make the sub enclosures.

On with the picts.

A comparison shot to show how beefy these 6/5's are. One of the Momo's I had in the doors. A Beyma 6.5 and the DDSW 6.5.

The rings are made from the cutouts from my sub box. I have a pile of them so I might as well put them to use.
