Cloak559
All you have inside the wires for the neon are positive and negative. So all you need to do is get a 12v source for the hot(positive) and ground your negative to the body. There are a couple ways you can do this, one that involves purchasing a toggle switch, and one that does not. With a toggle switch, all you have to do is find a constant 12v source, t-tap onto that, wire your switch up, and your done. Tuck your wires and go. Without a switch you will have to find a switched 12v source like your ignition or accessory wire. You can also tap into a dome light or remote turn on, ect... Hope that helps.... Cloak559
get LEDs... they are overall better but more expensive.. Agreed, L.E.D.'s are both brighter and last longer. I do like the even glow of a neon tube though. Plus, I think he allready has the neon... civichatch
To hook up my neons under my dash i just went to the cigarette lighter opend up the casing and stripped a little bit of the rubber covering off on both positive and negative. Then i just wrapped the positive and negative of the neon tube to that. That way you can still use ur cigarette lighter and have your neons on at the same time. Has worked for me. roscoe1129
Run arelay off of your remote wire send one wire to the amps the other to the neons. that will allow your neons to turn on with your stereo and not interfere with your tunz Quote Some people need a sympathetic pat... on the head...with my hammer Scientia est Vox "In Nomine Patris et Filii et Spiritus Sancti" DONT BE AFRAID TO USE THE SEARCH BUTTON!!!
