clam shell or not?

Recommended Posts

First of the vehicle is a 99 blazer

no alts yet but a 300amp will be ordered

What would be better a "normal" box with 4 15s on 3500-4000wrms around 16-20 cubes (if i have enough space) or a basically smaller version of the caddy build 8 15s 45-50 cubes with 2500wrms

Guys that rock walls/clamshells daily i need some help, what do you think would be louder, mover more air, and be a overall better system.

yeah there aren't many clamshells being built anymore

Cause ppl are losing there grown man sacs lol. I was/might still do another wall in my blazer with 8-15s but I am wooreid about enough box to go ported. Do a clamshell. YOU WILL LOVE IT! moves alot of air and looks good. Will def get you some ladies :)

DO IT!!! Clamshell!

I have 12 12"s that see about 1.75 cubic feet each on @350-400 watts RMS. I love it. Best sounding box I have ever had. That doesn't even take into account the loudness factor. I really like the way mine sounds, and it is meant for daily- it isn't for SPL numbers.

normal box for it if its a daily driver.

if its not then clamshell.

the weight of the clam will make your blazer a turd.

I completely forgot about that!!! ...yeah- this is true. I don't mind it though.
