Jville140db Posted September 2, 2009 Report Posted September 2, 2009 so i finally decided on a sub fi bl 15 fully loaded and was wondering about the box the dimensions i have are as follows EXT w-45.5 h-17 d-12 my port will be h15.5 w3 l28.5 which is 46.5 in of vent area tune is 33 hz and volume is 3.4 cu ft all corners will be 45 and the box will be resin coated on the inside will this be big enough and what kind of numbers should i expect in a trailblazer with 1500 rms going to it off of a bxi1606d or do you think i should upgrade the amp as well thanks for any help EDIT- BTW Thanks to Zaxfire69 can't wait to get the sub. THEKINGsBACK Posted September 5, 2009 Report Posted September 5, 2009 no just one 15 and the net internal volume will be 3 cu ft after sub, port and bracing displacement. i do believe that 3 is kinda small my friend.. i was runnin 1 fi ssd 15 in my maxima for a while and that what 4 cubes and sounded great.. i think 3 is to small though.. just my opinion he wouldnt be the first to say they did a 167 with a system like that (one that clearly DOESNT), but i have to say, he didnt beat me anywhere, ive never competed against the guy. If he thinks his does a 167, mine would probably put him in a coma. :hairtrick:
