Your truck is going to ear fuck you when its done, and you have david to thank for that!Thats what i was thinking,it was sad when steve miller (owner of rd) was running half the equiptment (2 d9s and 2 hws) and was 2 db louder than me..can we say BOTTLENECKIN power?i just want to say i know just what your going through and how you probly feel like an idiot...i paid a local audio shop 10,000 bucks for a huge system,,and i got screwed in the same way you did....4 18" subs and one amp,small ass wire,,,crappy grounds,,they had my bass knob hooked up to my mids,,,the system fried all the tweeters within a couple of weeks,,,one damn battery...broken interior panels,,so much stuff was wrong, its to much to list...i got charged 800 bucks for a box with about 60 dollors in wood an screws,,no 45 angles,or smoothed port edges...mid amp that would go into constant clip at half volume,,,4 aug wire for four 18" subs,,,if you have four subs that do 2500 rms each,,,why would you put 2000 watts on on them,,,,thats 500 each....i hope my installers shop goes underi definatly know the feeling,it blows..literallyI think you should file a law suit against the people who did your install. With the amount of power you were running and shotty wiring job they did, could have led to a serious electrical fire in you truck.I keep hearing that el oh elits getting there whats next on the choppin blockget that cardboard or whatever it is out of the back of the truck and wash the floor down really good and start deadening,david was soldering this mornin when i went by there to take him breakfast..cool stuff i must say
