Thanks man i appreciate it,but i do like a good clean deep rumble exhaust sound but not all that poppin and crackin and shit.But im still torn between getting exhaust and not,it is whisper quiet right now,you cant even hear it sitting there running

are u susposto add a ground wire to the alt bracket for big 3? or is it maily for larger amp alts, my stock alt is 70amps so i dnt think it will make that much of a diff

If were talking about mufflers, Personally, I think flows are very over rated, and strictly the sound of them is what sells them, cause there so common, I think people only think of flowmasters. On our dyno back in the day, on my 9sec 2000 LS1 camaro, For shits and giggles, I took my old custom made x-pipe (no cats of course, and dumped at the rear axle) I had a set of 40 series 1 chamber flows welded in, did a before and after run, and lost 18 rear wheel HP, and nearly 30lbs of TQ, compared to my "OTHER" custom made X-Pipe with Dynomax bullet mufflers welded to it. Flowmasters are way more restrictive then most people think. There good mufflers, I wont deny that, but there is better out there, and for less money. Lost even more power with them "flows" when the N20 was spraying, just wouldn't let the motor exhale fast enough!

Oh I have loud exhaust on some of my cars with big engines. 70 Buick with a 455, 67 Camero with a 454, both scream like a banshee. But my Caddy and Sebring, those cars are quiet.
