Iraggi Alternator Posted September 7, 2009 Author Report Posted September 7, 2009 I did 5.25's because I had 12 cases of them in the shop and had a wild car to put 48 in a 84 Civic. It worked so good I decided to put 108 in the caddy. LOL.. that blazer is mine too. Its painted now tho. Nope, the car is gone. I would love to build it again but way too costly..... Unless a manufacturer wanted us to build it and front all the product. I could see 180's all day long with a little manufcaturer help. They dont like 5.25's beating their subwoofers tho... Maybe I should get Dynaudio or Focal to help out. LOL

I had to get a feel for when too much volume was too much volume. They would take over 1000 each tho for burps.. no problem. thats wut i was thinkin. thats a lot of power for those little speakers how many did u pop?

And you gotta admit it was way different and if im remember correctly it always drew large crowds when he took it out. I actually built that car to compete in Usac Legal SPL. They used a B&K meter and it was sealed up on the dash. I was always so close to 1st but never had badass speakers and amps at the same time. I either had one or the other. I may build it again someday... Its sure did catch some attention tho... I remember the guy I was competing against was sitting there rocking back and forth on a chair like he needed a fix when he was waiting for me to go thru the lanes. Nobody had any idea of what that car was capable of. LOL. He still beat me by a db or two... if that is your opinion, then why are you on this site?
