If you remember, a lil while back my mom had a stroke and heart attack, then we found out she had developed diabetes too. She was so terrified- The best thing you can do is be there for her/with her as much as possible, and make sure you say ALL the things you ever MEANT to say. My mom n I got "caught up" a lot while I stayed w/ her in the hsopital until she came home. Just make sure she knows you care and give her some condolences from the SMD guys.
