You're not going to find a decent amp for under 1600.

And The DAT 8.1 is an amazing amp.

But, I say go for LoganBerry's.

It will be cheaper and Stetsom makes great amps.

Edit: Logan, what are you replacing the 7k with?

Ok you have the electrical to run a lot of different amps. I would say the Stetsom 7kd that logan is selling.

Also, what coils do you have on the BTL's?

i have 2 fully loaded 2ohm BTL 18s. ive narrowed it down to (2)AQ 3500s(1400 shipped) 1 stetson 7k(1400) or cadence 7000.1D (1500). which would be best? have 220 amp alt. 1 optima red top up front,2 kintetic 2400s for back. plenty of 1/0. also any tips on gettin my voltage about 15?

Ok 2 dual 2 ohm BTLs so you have to wire to 0.5 ohms or 2 ohms.

Unless you have the electrical from 'nam the Stetsom won't like 0.5 ohms. The Cadence... maybe. That amp's the same as a Atomic AT5000.1 I think, still need crazy electrical to keep it alive. Maybe even more than you have.

I would do the 2 AQs strapped to 2 ohms.
