Scapelli21
I have roughly 5^3, and my Sundown 3k and electrical in sig. Looking for daily groundpounder that can smash lows...loudness before SQ obviously but has to sound decent as well. Get a pr. of the AQ's or buy another NS and recone mine to a 12? Decaf
its cheaper to do the aqs both are known to take 3k+ easily...
AI James
money to performance ratio id go AQ, even if they are same loudness AQ is cheaper
Scapelli21
AQ's shipped are 578 shipped, the total for recone and another 12 is about 500. Still AQ's? Team Nemesis-DJ
I gave my advice ...
Scapelli21
I don't see the sub selling, people are just too broke right now and noone seems to care about Nightshades anymore so I'm basically looking to recone and buy or just buy 2 aq's and wait forever for the sub to sell. DJ did give his advice and it almost cemented it for me. But still looking for opinions. AI James
hmm i dont have a problem selling anything i put up really. you can get AT LEAST 200 out of the nightshade if you trythat alone brings the price of the AQ setup drastically down. im sure this next one will probably ruffle feathers but of well. I look at sundown as an amp company first that happens to make subwoofers i look at AQ as a Subwoofer company who makes amps. so if you were asking me aobut the amps id probably tell you get the sundowns , but as for subwoofers i'll say go for AQ's I havent heard a nightshade either mind you, just my observations and opinions on the 2. Nightshade
They're both good subs, but by my screen name I bet you can guess which one I'd rather run Quote 2013 VW Jetta GLI 2.0 Turbo 1 Sundown Audio SCV2000 1 Sundown Audio X15 V2 1 XS Power D3100 Audio Control LC6i Stock Deck 146.4 sealed on the dash at 37hz 2001 Focus ZX3: RETIRED Team Sundown Audio, Team XS Power, 2 time NSPL Car 3601-Up Champion, 2 time NSPL Car Hardcore ChampionHighest NSPL Scores to date:154.3db on the dash sealed at 46hz, 156.2db in the kick at 46hz155.2db unofficial on dash at 43hz
