Cavalier/installing Equipment/rear Battery Box/amprack

Recommended Posts

only problem i would see by soldering the wires, is that the screw might not "screw" down into the wire like it usually does. ya know when you pull it out and see the indentation of where the screw is? thats what im talking about.

ahhh your right. I noticed that wen moving my ground wire.

the solder must be soft enough to bury the set screw a bit then, because I just went out and checked them ...and they are SOLID...........

Gah that trunk looks soo clean. You oughta just leave it like that!! I mean, maybe add some trim panels, but they aren't even necessary. Have you heard it yet?

A couple links to some box builds:

Tahoe Box 1, Tahoe Box 2, Nissan Titan, VW GTI,

Mini-Bump, Hummer H2, Ford F-150

My own car builds (current setup --- under construction):

Overall Thread, Kickpods, Dash, Back Doors

Subwoofer Wall

that is pretty much what the trunk will look like.....but the amps will get acrylic under them....and it will be back lit with LEDs...
