Of course some people are gonna prefer the old ones over the new ones just like some people prefer the old hd3's. To each his own. I'm just curious as to an audible difference between the 2. i heard a alum 15 changed to a new copper coil in same box same amp(aq2200d) and the copper got louder to the ear and sounded better I would think the AQ HDC3 would be similar to the dd 3500, seeing as AQ is DD similar goals but different motors and softparts and so on dj sold dd to his son jassa... dj started aq thats the same as saying Re is Fi because scott worked at both haha, i lol'd me too... he called newls1 out!
