sdg0080 Posted October 20, 2009 Report Posted October 20, 2009 ill keep mine short and sweet...my ex hit me with a car. well actually she crushed me through a wall with my own car. i was having her pull the car into our garage and i was walking from one side to the other, the next thing i know im being hit by the car and it drive part way through the back wall of the garage. my feet were under the car and i was holding on to the wiper arms. the best part is the garage is on a slight hill so the back of it is a couple feel off the ground. the tires drove off the end so it was laying on the frame of the car. so she couldnt back up to free me. i will say that 911 responds pretty fast and im very grateful for that...lol it took nearly 8 months to walk properly, i was very lucky that i had no major damage, like broken bones or torn ligaments. it was the worst pain i have ever felt. now here is what she claims happend. she says her foot slipped off the brake and nailed the gas. all i remember is i saw the front of the car raise up just before it nailed me. here is what i think happened. it was a 1994 honda accord ex, and anyone who has a honda knows that if you take it out of park and pull back till you hit the shift stops, it stops in D3. most cars it stops in overdrive or D4 on a honda. one shift up would be neutral in any other car. in a honda its now in D4...overdrive. so i think she went to play around and shift into neutral and rev the motor just playing around. however, the car was still in drive and when she reved the motor...it took off. so much so that it left black marks in the garage from the wheel spin. needless to say we broke up soon after...
