REDLooP
Hey thanks guys, still a lot of work to go. Bit of a nightmare tryin to get everythin to fit nice. Hoping to have the boot(trunk) full sorted in a few weeks. Didnt feel that good tryin the fiberglass myself ha. In the middle of gettin a new motor in it too, going from a 1.0L (60hp) up to a 2.0t from a audi tt (280hp) an it weighs 1800lbs haha anyone notice that all these overseas builds use the best of equipment, hertz, rainbow, focal, audisonbut over here the vast majority has hifonics, kicker, mtx, jensen.... very odd Might be that all the hertz stuff an on are a lot cheaper here. Dont forget they have to ship all the gear to the states 1st, so that pushes the price up. Vw Lupo Alpine 9880RR / Hertz EP2/ Rainbow SLX Deluxe 165/Hertz ESK 130s/ Alpine Mrd 605/ Hertz ES250D.3. REDLooP
a tiny bit of a update. Replaced my rainbow 6.5 slx deluxes with the SLC 6.5s instead, made the world of difference. Sealed up all the holes in the door pannels with some skins. Got some of their moisture guard too, to help keep my mids dry in the wet country i live in. Biggest update bit is this. Not anywhere near finished yet, got lots more trimming to go. Waiting on alcantara now for the seat backs and im gonna leather the fiberglass bit. Hopefully keep the the plain dark greys, and just add some red or purple led's under the sub and amp bit. Made up some of my own RCA's, tbh cost as much as buying the best u can get. But they sound great and i made them haha, + they look mad But this is what i have on order, only need to wait 5months HAHAHAH Audison th10 BASSO Just gotta decide on the new amp now, might get a genesis monoblock (made in the UK). Hopefully u guys like it, as i know it's abit different to what most of u do. Please comment. Vw Lupo Alpine 9880RR / Hertz EP2/ Rainbow SLX Deluxe 165/Hertz ESK 130s/ Alpine Mrd 605/ Hertz ES250D.3. mbaty1
I'm loving the build man!! I've always enjoyed watching the Euro builds as it seems they are much more SQ oriented and use some of the best equipment out there for sound reproduction within a car environment! Very nice little build you got going on and VERY interested to see that Audison sub and your impressions, well, once you get it that is.... :01nocomment8so:
REDLooP
Thanks I do envy all of your :hairtrick:, as mines not built for that. Yeah got 5 months till the audison sub arrives, and thats direct from audison ha. Abit of a joke, but ill let u know what it's like. Cars not gettin used everyday now, just for shows. So i can splash out on it abit more. engines starting to come together, and air ride is in the pipeline u think Vw Lupo Alpine 9880RR / Hertz EP2/ Rainbow SLX Deluxe 165/Hertz ESK 130s/ Alpine Mrd 605/ Hertz ES250D.3.
