However, with parental approval there is no reason younger people can't be allowed to drink some....I'd draw the line at 16, which is where I would draw the line for most things. By 16 I was fully able to handle 30 hours a week working, along with 40 hours a week at school. Along with sex and alcohol. Most kids, at the discretion of their parents, should be given the same freedoms. I think the big argument to that is if you are drafted or join, you can drink at 18 on base. You know how many more deaths there will be per year?, better yet per day (Yes I know teens still drink anyway but lowering the age will cause even more to drink) Seat belt? Some of ya'll sound like kids saying they should take that off. Doesn't bother me one bit. Just make it a habit. Nowhere is Marijuana legal (Not even Amsterdam), and I have seen movies/documentaries/shows where it says that marijuana causes no harm then I've seen others where it says it causes harm so I don't know what to believe except to not smoke it. I have personally never gotten caught, but almost everyone I know has.... just gotta be the ginger bread man, cant catch me haha and where I live the police are so bored they will try to bust you for anything. Im pretty sure they just changed some of the jurisdiction of the michigan police or something.
