n8ball2013
I havent seen it done in a long time. pretty much take an inch thick rope or whatever thickness you want and find a way to secure it to the walls of the box. staple it nail it glue it whatever you need to do. Then coat it in resin making sure the resin can soak into the rope. use an S type shape instead of straight lines. the curves will add strength to it. Straight will work as well but would take more lengths of rope. n8ball2013
the key to a strong box is to keep the flat planes short or heavily braced. you will get more flexing on a long flat panel then you will a short panel. imfrom210texas
got you. wont 2 3/4 boards of MDF be hard to screw through. what screws do you use? I think you use a drillbit to make pilot holes, making it easier for the screws to go in. If Morgan Freeman narrated a story on how great AIDS is, I would be captivated and tempted to contract it myself. His voice just fills my soul with warm fuzzies and puppy tears. He has NO idea and may have a touch of autism to be honest. Is this guy real or is he joking? i actually mistook him for a lesbian in that demo video Wanted to mess around with a box for the garage. Was thinking 4 6x9 in 4 cube at like 30 hz... These are the things that make me lol

korey_hofer
you will have a much stronger box if you use birch and not mdf I will never use mdf again double layer where you can resin and matting (resin alone does not make box stronger) then test it if it has any flex use wooden dowels to brace it I havn't needed bracing in 4 years because of using birch and double layers previously known as wenn_du_weinst aka fucking internet coward supreme. I talk shit on other forums like a little bitch and hope i don't get caught out on the street.
