97SSBlazer Posted October 24, 2009 Report Share Posted October 24, 2009 Picked up a 94 S-10 standard cab 2WD 2.2L 5SPD. I picked it up for 400. Little did i know there was a hole in the gas tank . After a new tank and sending unit it runs fine. I had to make "custom" grounds for the the fuel pump and gauge to work properly as all three sending units i picked up had horribly corroded wires. I replaced the Tank, sending unit, tires and brakes all for less than 200.00. So all said and done i have 600$ in a winter beater. I plan on doing the front rotors with my next check, so add another 100.00. Here is a few pics of it the day i bough it. http://s414.photobucket.com/albums/pp224/bngblzr/94%20s10/ Ill take some new ones when it stops raining, I cleaned the interior for a good 5 hours and now it looks as good as new. Put new tires on it so now it has 4 matching rims and tires instead of that UGLY spare. I know the truck isnt pretty but it runs good. I already have a pretty truck that why i bought the s10 so i can keep the blazer in storage for the crappy MI weather. The whole reason for buying a winter beater lower tuning is just hard.
