Drek75633 Posted October 27, 2009 Report Posted October 27, 2009 The outside will be ok. But from what I've heard. Don't do the inside. It makes the inside of the box more reflective to bass. And if you don't know what that means. You get an echo. It will make you SQ go to shit. 2004 Mustang 3 18s 6 crossfire bmf 1700s strapped @ .5 161.2 db Daily driver 159.4 @ 45 hz 158.7 @ 35 hz 154.4 @ 25 hz Team Hz Addiction http://www.youtube.com/Drek75633
spl explorer Posted October 27, 2009 Report Posted October 27, 2009 the bedliner wouldnt make a huge difference X2 I have all my boxes Vortex bed liner sprayed. Its doesn’t affect dB or sound unless that 0.1dB matters to you EDIT: inside AND out! 12voltz+- Posted October 27, 2009 Author Report Posted October 27, 2009 SO you bed lined your box in side and out with .01 db loss?
wL<3bass Posted October 27, 2009 Report Posted October 27, 2009 I painted my port and outside of the box with a bedliner type spray....didn't have any adverse effect on mine.... micahmye Posted October 27, 2009 Report Posted October 27, 2009 I put bed liner inside and outside of a t-line that I built once, didn't seem to have any echo issues like some were suggesting, seemed fine to me. "The Pimp Van" Build "The Pimp Van" Rebuild Youtube Photobucket Feedback For Sale

12voltz+- Posted October 27, 2009 Author Report Posted October 27, 2009 interested .... well i might do it then or maybe even that hammered metal finish... only reason id do it inside the actual box is because through the port you can seee a lot of the box .. so id at least have to do that and on top of my ocd i would have to just finish the hole inside lol good info thanks ever one!

I was wondering if anyone was going to argue with me on that statement or not. Quite a few ppl caught it. Nic Posted October 29, 2009 Report Posted October 29, 2009 my plan was to do my boxes inside and out.... same with my buddies... id rather loose a few tenths then spend hours sanding fiberglass... simplicity is key... and having my friends dad come out and spray everything down with bedliner is really simple to me plus personally i see it adding benefits... its water/moisture proof... its gonna seal it up tight and it looks pretty darn good... Full eclipse system is next on list.. soon to gut and redo the honda as new project/rolling buissness card i miss the sound of those old school strokers on beast amps
