Loudcav
PL is the way to go much stronger than liquid nails so you have to wear gloves
TritonBoulder47
I've always used a rairly decent ammount of wood glue durring construction, then after it's set-up, I would liquid nail all the seams, and press it into the seam with my finger... Noob_On_Droid
Eh not exactly I went through almost 2 bottles of titebond II and it definitley holds the wood together but its not viscous enough to qualify as a sealant. I have also tried liquid nails, but its too malleable when it cures. Also a bit OT here but while I have this thread up, does anyone know the best way to clean off woofers surrounds? My 18s got a bit dusty during construction and I don't to damage the foam surrounds with chemicals. Adhesive automotive silicone for the box corners and good 'ol WD-40 for your surround
Basshead08
I resin and fiberglass the seams of my boxes. Thewes
Adhesive automotive silicone for the box corners and good 'ol WD-40 for your surround Great idea with the wd-40, Ill give that a shot. Also I do smooth the liquid nails, I guess I just haven't given it enough time to cure.

Marlo Stanfield
Titebond and then any silicone based sealed works just fine 99.9% of the time, just use your fingers to push it into the corners. After that you can 45 the corners where the major airflow will take place, then glass and resin over that. I know u said no glass or resin but it really is the best option.
