Boon
The Goliath, IMO. Pretty sure the Orion HCCA5000 only makes about 2.5kw although I might be thinking of another amp... Quote 10.x volts fo' life!

Gotloud555
I don't thinik the Goliath amp truly put out 5000 R.m.s of power because someone already bench press it. I think it rated at 4985 R.M.s.

I think it rated at 4985 R.M.s. Yeah. Because you can hear 15wrms difference when there's already almost 5kw going to the sub... :01nocomment8so: :01nocomment8so: :01nocomment8so: :01nocomment8so: :01nocomment8so: God damn. You probably lose more power than that from the speaker wire heating up slightly. Quote 10.x volts fo' life!

dblovah51
actually theres a new HCCA line that does 5k and 10kid prefer the HCCA over hifonics myself thanks alot but u guys are thinkin about the older hcca5000 that was a 25k rms, but the new one will b out dec. 18 or so and was told a while ago that its 5k plus and will have birthsheet testin available. so that seems like it would be a beastly amp. sound xtreme
choose which ever one that either has a (best) warranty, or which ever one supports their equipment better. Its not hard to get ahold of Mike Steirs from maxxsonics. I have no idea who does Orion.
